A final word of caution about ‘Block-Lists’

The antithesis of a ‘Starter Pack’ is a ‘Block List’. Anyone can assemble a list of accounts. (example: Nazis, MAGA, and other idiots), and create a block-list. Subscribing to such a list would automatically block all these accounts from appearing in your search and timelines. In theory, a great idea:

However, be cautious. Some of these near-do-wells have created such block-lists and filled it with progressive and democratic voices. So use these block-lists sparingly, if at all. Make sure the originator is someone you can trust.

P.S. I had been a member of Twitter since 2009. I can tell you, without hesitation, that engagement on Bsky is unlike anything I had ever experienced, even in the early days of Twitter.
